Dr Caroline Love joins the ELF Patient Advisory Committee

We are pleased to announce that Dr Caroline Love, author of the Adult OA/TOF Management Handbook, and an adult born with OA/TOF herself, has been appointed to the Patient Advisory Committee of the European Lung Foundation (ELF).

EFL is a patient-led organisation that works internationally to bring patients and the public together with healthcare professionals to improve lung health and advance diagnosis, treatment and care.

As part of her role on the Patient Advisory Committee, Caroline will represent TOFS and other oesophageal atresia global support groups with the aim of developing a united voice of respiratory patient organisations across Europe.

Caroline said, “I attended the first meeting of the patient support groups committee earlier this week. Most members are big national asthma or lung charities, so we are one of a select few ‘rare diseases’ and the only congenital anomaly (as opposed to genetic conditions). Looking forward to contributing and learning more for the OA/TOF community.”
