Talk With TLCs: Nursery and school session for parents and carers!

Time: 8pm

PLEASE NOTE: This session is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please email info@tofs.org.uk

Please join our interactive online session for members to share tips, coping strategies and advice, for parents and carers of children born with OA/TOF.

The session will be hosted on Zoom, on Tuesday 7 September, by two of our TOFS Local Contacts (TLCs), Naomi Webborn and Rebecca Golding – both are volunteers and parents of children born with OA/TOF

The discussion for this session will centre around children with OA/TOF starting nursery, pre-school and school, moving up to secondary school, and those currently in an educational setting.

Are you wondering how best to collaborate with staff and teachers? Are you concerned about meal times? Or ensuring when transitioning to secondary school, your child born with OA/TOF will have the same level of care and understanding? Would you like to share ideas to ensure children settle in well, and don’t feel anxious about their condition? Maybe you'd like some advice regarding writing a care plan.

If so, please join our interactive session, to discuss your thoughts in confidence, and share experiences to support one another.

It is free of charge, and open to members of TOFS. There are only a limited number of places, and pre-booking is essential.

Please include in your email a question that you'd like to be discussed with other parents and carers in the session.
