TOFS receives no support from the Government (national or local) and relies completely on donations from our supporters, the vast majority of whom are connected in some way with the OA / TOF condition.
We’ve been a Registered Charity since 1987 and our aim is to help everyone born with OA/TOF and their families.
Our development from a small parent support group to an internationally recognised charity has been made possible through the support of our amazing fundraisers and generous donors.
TOFS is a membership organisation and we are delighted that we have members in many countries all around the world. We do not charge for Membership, but welcome donations. Please join us here.
We are very grateful for donations from members and their friends, family and communities. Such donations usually provide around a quarter of our total income. Our members also support us by generously fundraising for us so that we can keep on supporting families. Indeed, more than half of our income is typically raised for us by our members and their friends, and this is crucial.
We also rely on our volunteers, who help us provide contact, support and hope to families.

Regular donations are extremely important to TOFS. By choosing to give a regular monthly donation, you will help us to plan ahead and make long-term improvements for people with OA/TOF and associated conditions all over the world.
We warmly welcome corporate support, whether it’s on a one-off basis or through a Give as You Earn scheme. Several relatively small corporate donations have made a big difference to TOFS!
If your company is interested in supporting TOFS, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us.
As a registered charity, we submit a comprehensive report and accounts to our regulators every year. Our full report and accounts can be downloaded from the Charity Commission website.
We are also lucky to receive some non-cash benefits from other partners including:
