TOFS' Trustees Graham Slater and Samantha Mann, along with TOFS' manager Diane Stephens, attended the BAPS 65th Annual International Congress 2018 with BAPES in Liverpool during July 18-20. BAPS is the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons and BAPES is the British Association of Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons.

The photo on the left shows Graham (second left) with the President-Elect of BAPS and other Patient Group Reps.

We had a TOFS stand in the exhibition area where we successfully introduced TOFS to some new clinicians. Graham also held meetings with the President-Elect of BAPS, Richard Stewart, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospital, along with other clinicians who are involved in supporting TOFS, and who are working on TOFS-related research programmes. Overall it was a very productive few days in our ongoing engagement with the medical profession.

The BAPS International Congress is the annual gathering of the international paediatric surgical community, bringing together surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals to learn from the best in current research and technical advances. It represents for TOFS a wonderful opportunity to network and advance our cause.
