TOFS' Trustee Graham Slater presented on the subject of ‘The Need for Expert Centres for OA’ at an international symposium held last week in Holland, to celebrate the retirement of Prof. David van der Zee, a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and an internationally respected pioneer in paediatric minimally invasive surgery. Graham is delighted to report that Prof. van der Zee has offered in his retirement to help EAT. EAT is the federation of Esophageal Atresia and Tracheo-Esophageal Fistula support groups. Prof. van der Zee's wisdom and experience will be an extremely valuable contribution to EAT’s collaboration with clinicians to improve the care of OA patients.
