Regular readers of Chew and those of you who attended our TOFS Conference 2018 in Coventry will know all about our mission to actively engage with medics.   Some of you may have seen a poster display about current research going on at Oxford.

We have received the following request for images from Geri Briggs, Patient Safety Manager at the Oxford Patient Safety Collaborative:

Dear TOF parents,

You may be aware of a programme being run by Oxford Patient Safely Collaborative to improve safety and outcomes for children with technologically dependent complex needs who are cared for at home.

You can read about it here:

We would love to have some images of babies and children with gastrostomies to illustrate the reports, posters etc. which we produce about our work. Do you have any suitable pictures of your children that you would be willing to share with us and give us permission to use?

If so, please contact me via my email address

Many thanks

Geri Briggs

Patient Safety Manager

Please note that TOFS are unable to forward images or to give permission on your behalf, so please direct any images (or queries) directly to Geri on

Thank you!
