We are delighted to welcome Anna Clark on to the TOFS team as Volunteer and Events Co-ordinator.

Working closely with TOFS local contacts (TLCs), Anna will be responsible for increasing volunteer engagement to help TOFS fulfil its objectives in extending support to all those born with TOF/OA, young and old. She will also help roll out the 2020 family information and support programme for families and adult TOFs, which aims to help reduce isolation and improve support networks.

Anna has extensive experience in education and her previous roles include working as an Assistant Headteacher, Early Years Education adviser, support worker for mental health in the workplace and she has previously volunteered for Bliss, the premature baby charity. Anna has experience of some of the complexities of TOF/OA as she is mum to Millie aged 12, who was born with the condition and her twin Issy.

The role of Volunteer and Events Co-ordinator is a crucial step towards the next stage of development for TOFS as a charity. Anna said: “I am delighted to be joining TOFS. It is such a special charity and I am very much looking forward to working together with our volunteers and the TOFS team to improve the lives of those born with TOF and OA.
