The latest recruit to the TOFS team is no stranger to some members, because once again, we have recruited our new membership communications and support worker from amongst our membership!   Interviews for the position were held in the middle of January and Crystal Brook, a member of TOFS, proved to be the best person for the job. We're delighted to welcome her to the team.

Crystal will be responsible for welcoming new members to TOFS and engaging with them at key stages in the membership journey.  She will assist with membership communications and make a major contribution ot the overall organisation of membership information, helping TOFS fulfil its objectives in extending pastoral care to all those born with TOF/OA, young and old.

Crystal has experience of some of the complexities of OA/TOF as she is mum to Leo aged 2, who was born with the condition and his twin, Fox.

The role of membership communications and support worker is a crucial step towards the next stage of development for TOFS as a charity.  Crystal said:

"Since becoming a mum to my twins (one born with OA/TOF) two years ago, TOFS has been an invaluable source of information for me and my family.  I am extremely excited to begin my journey with TOFS as membership communications and support worker and provide support for families like mine."
