Opportunity to take part in research into transition from paediatric to adult care. Please take part!

We’re delighted to announce this research study into transitioning from paediatric to adult care in the UK.  You can watch a short video about the importance of engagement with the study here.

Trainee Clinical Psychologist, Andy Haig-Ferguson, from the University of Bath is interested in hearing about your experience of transition.  Adults 16 or over may take part, and their parents may take part in addition (or instead of the Adult TOF).

The research aims to explore parents' and young people's experiences of moving from child to adult healthcare and it will contribute to a doctoral project in clinical psychology.

We hope that findings from this research may be beneficial in designing more appropriate services and better supporting families so that TOF adolescents make more successful transitions from child to adult healthcare.

A further benefit of this research may also be to share the positive coping strategies that families have adopted.

Please do get involved.  The survey will take between 30 - 45 minutes.  It doesn't have to be completed in one sitting - you can save your responses and return to it when it suits.

The survey may be accessed here or by scanning the QR code.

Thank you, in advance, for your participation.
