SUMMARY:Thames Moonlight 10 Walk
DESCRIPTION:Take on either a spirited Friday evening 10km or an energetic 10-mile (16km) looped route walk through the heart of London as darkness falls\, and the Moon rises while fundraising for TOFS! \nThe Oval Cricket Ground is the start/finish venue as you will experience London in a different light\, passing famous landmarks\, including St Paul’s\, Westminster Abbey\, Tower Bridge\, the London Eye and more. \nSign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way\, a special Moon medal\, T shirt and celebration finish with some hot food & drink. \nNote: Applications for this event are managed via our partner\, Action Challenges.  \nEntry fee:\n£25 (10Mile or 10K route)\nThis fee goes towards covering your subsidised entry cost and the admin fees charged by the race organisers. Payable on application. \nOther entry fee options may also be available. Please click the “Get more info” button below to check. \nFundraising commitment:\n£75\nThis is the minimum amount (before Gift Aid) that we would expect a participant to raise. But you don’t have to stop there! many of our fundraisers really go for it and most will raise far above that amount! \nFundraising Deadlines:\nAt least 50% of the Sponsorship target (for either the Sponsorship for Charity or Mixed Funding option) should be raised by 3 weeks prior to the Challenge. At this time TOFS will pay a Fee for your place to the Organiser (similar to the Self Funding cost). Failure to meet the 50% target may result in cancellation of your place. DESCRIPTION:Join 2500 walkers and trek up to 25km across the Capital with unrivalled views of the skyline and landmarks while you fundraise for TOFS! \nFrom a Putney Bridge start it’s East towards the City\, zig zagging over 16 historic bridges\, each with a fascinating story – and a mid-point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground for snacks & drinks. \n25km later\, beyond the majestic Tower Bridge\, it’s a party style finish line celebration & afternoon picnic in Southwark Park. \nSign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way\, plenty of food and drink\, a special medal\, T shirt and celebration finish. With a 10 km option also  available – there’s a fabulous Thames Walk for you! \nNote: Applications for this event are managed via our partner\, Action Challenges. \nEntry fee:\n£50 (25K)\n£22.50 (10K)\nThis fee goes towards covering your subsidised entry cost and the admin fees charged by the race organisers.
