DESCRIPTION:Note: Later UK start time to accommodate international members. \nUK: Saturday\, 12th September – 10.30 PM (2230) \nExample international times:Auckland: Sunday 13th September – 9.30am Sydney: Sunday 13th September – 7.30amUSA Eastern: Saturday\, 12th September – 5.30pm (1730)USA Pacific: Saturday\, 12th September – 2.30pm (1430) \n(Zoom will automatically show your local time.) \nCalling all adults born with OA/TOF. \nYou’re invited for a virtual cuppa and chat with other adults born with OA/TOF. \nThis informal meet-up is led by volunteers\, who are also adults born with OA/TOF\, and is a relaxed\, safe space to share stories and experiences with others that understand what you are going through. \nSo\, come along\, enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee (or tea) and meet others in the #OA / #TOF and #VACTERL community! \nMeet the volunteers: \n\nAlison born 1967\, OA/TOF (long gap). Had a colonic interposition repair at 2.5 years old at Manchester Children’s hospital (Pendlebury)\nKate\, born 1957\, OA/TOF (Short gap) and associated anomalies\nMichael\, born 1952 with OA/TOF short gap with various intervention.\nAlan\, O/A TOF surgery 1969 John Radcliffe Oxfordshire\, and VACTERL anomalies\n\nNote: TOFS charity is facilitating these events\, however they will be led by the Adult OA/TOF Working Group and the TOFS office staff won’t be in attendance. \nPlease note: Registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the start of the event. SUMMARY:OA/TOF: A father’s perspective
DESCRIPTION:Are you the father of a child born with OA/TOF? Are you looking to support a male caregiver? Do you wish to talk more about the father’s perspective of having a child born with OA/TOF? \nThis event is open to all members but may be particularly useful for dads and male caregivers\, wishing to meet others in a similar situation. It’s a great opportunity to share experiences and get support. \nThe session will be held via Zoom and hosted by our TLCs\, Alan\, Bruce and Richard – all are volunteers and parents of children born with OA/TOF. \nAny questions about the event or suggestions for inclusion in this discussion can be submitted prior to the event when registering on Zoom or by emailing them to info@tofs.org.uk \nPre-booking is essential\, so please register as soon as possible. \nPlease note: Registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
