Small Charity Week highlights the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector, which supports millions of people and communities every day. Resilient charities create stronger communities, but many are now under more pressure than ever.
TOFS supports those affected by Oesophageal Atresia (OA) and Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (TOF), rare congenital conditions that affect 1 in every 3,500 people.
We are proud to be part of this collective effort to recognise the power of small charities in our local communities. Small Charity Week is not only a chance to say thank you but also an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of supporting local charities through donations, fundraising, and volunteering. With many small charities facing the risk of closure, celebrating this week is more vital than ever.
Double your donation!
As part of Small Charities Week, TOFS has been selected to take part in The Big Give match funding campaign.
This means that every donation made to TOFS via The Big Give platform will be doubled thanks to generous match funding from Global Radio’s Make Some Noise, up to a total of £5000.
So a donation of £25 becomes £50 at no cost to you. Every gift now goes twice as far to support individuals and families affected by OA/TOF.
Funds raised during this campaign will help us to achieve our aims to:
- Improve mental health for OA/TOF patients and their families
- Strengthen relationships and outcomes for those living with the condition
- Empower patients to seek better care when dealing with health professionals, many of whom are unfamiliar with OA/TOF
