TOFS is proud to support World Patient Safety Day (WPSD), a global initiative that aims to bring together patients, families, caregivers, communities, health workers, health care leaders and policy-makers to show their commitment to patient safety.
As part of the campaign, TOFS Trustee Katrina Tyler has contributed an article for the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Katrina’s article explores the challenges of transitioning from paediatric to adult care and how structured, seamless transition pathways are vital to preventing gaps in care and securing lifelong patient safety.
TOFS have long called for consistent lifelong multi-disciplinary care for people born with OA regardless of their age, or where they live in the UK.
