“It Doesn’t End With Closure”, is an e-book on the subject of optimising health care throughout life after oesophageal atresia (OA) repair.

The author, Chantal ten Kate, surgical resident in training in Rotterdam, has combined her work as a physician with over 5 years of research into oesophageal atresia to write the book.

The book examines the ongoing issues that can be faced by adults born with OA/TOF and was compiled from interviews and includes chapters on genetic predisposition, management & intervention, and quality of life.
