How to donate to TOFS

It’s very easy to make a donation to TOFS, regardless of where you live in the UK, or worldwide but if you have any questions, please contact us

Please also tick the Gift Aid box for your donation. This allows TOFS to claim a further 25% on top of eligible donations at no cost to you (see below for more info on Gift Aid).

The simplest way to donate to TOFS is by making a one off or recurring donation via People’s Fundraising. Donations can be made using the following methods:

Will your employer match your donation?

Did you know that many companies will match charity donations raised by their employees? Please check with your manager or HR department to see if your company does the same. Every pound raised makes a huge difference to TOFS 🙂 Find out more here.

You can also make a payment direct to our UK bank account.

Please contact us to obtain our bank details.

Please note: Making a bank transfer does not give you the opportunity to add Gift Aid to your donation.

Please use one of our other methods if you wish to do this. Alternatively, please send us an email including the Gift Aid Declaration (below) to enable us to claim an additional 25% of your donation at no cost to you.

A quick note about Gift Aid

Did you know that TOFS can claim Gift Aid on most donations made by UK taxpayers? This means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give and it will not cost you a penny extra!

If you are donating online, you can do this at the same time. (Note: PayPal may send you a second email asking if you would like to add on Gift Aid.)

If you are posting a cheque, or paying direct in to our bank, please let us know if we can claim the Gift Aid on your donation. All we need is your name, address and a copy of the Gift Aid declaration emailed over to us (see below).

Gift Aid declaration

I confirm that I am a UK Income or Capital Gains taxpayer. I have read this statement and want TOFS to reclaim tax on my donation given on the date shown. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax / or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount Gift Aid claimed on all of my donations, it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that the charity will reclaim 25p of Tax on every £1 that I have given.
