The London Marathon is always a special occasion and we are immensely proud of our incredible team who took on the challenge of running 26.2 miles through the capital, all in support of our OA/TOF community.
Please join us in extending a massive thank you to our amazing London Marathon team: Ian Evans, Ollie McCarthy, Yasmin Roud and Yvonne Booth.
Taking on a marathon is a major undertaking and requires months of training, dedication, and sacrifice. For our runners, every step taken was fuelled by their personal connection for those affected by OA/TOF.
A huge thank you must also go out to our cheering station crew, TOFS volunteers John Pearce and Sue Pandey. They dedicated their time to welcome family supporters and ensure that every runner received a roaring TOFS cheer exactly when they needed it most. Thanks also to TOFS volunteer Clare Johns for giving up her time to support the team on our WhatsApp group on the lead up to the big day.
The current fundraising total for the team is a staggering £19,000!
And with more donations expected, that total can only grow higher!
Thank you to everyone who supported our runners, cheered them on, and contributed to this incredible total.
Don’t worry if you didn’t manage to sponsor the team on the day, you can still read all their stories and find links to their fundraising pages at: https://tofs.org.uk/2026/03/meet-your-2026-london-marathon-team
