TOFS Ambassador raises over £2000!

Celebrity Ambassador, Charlotte Fisher raised an incredible £2312 (inc. gift aid) to support TOFS while celebrating her son Elton’s 2nd birthday. Charlotte held a charity auction at the event and received support from the Downside and Hatchford Sports and Family Day who matched the monies raised.

Charlotte said, “I decided to mark Elton’s 2nd birthday with a fundraising party because, as other OA/TOF parents will know, we’re told that it all gets a lot easier when our babies reach the age of 2!

The charity have been a lifeline for our family over the past 2 years, providing us with support and guidance and helping to connect us with other OA/TOF families who are all on a similar journey to us.

We are lucky enough to have many talented friends who volunteered to sing at our event in our children’s party concert and entertained the toddlers with their upbeat (mostly Disney) songs.

We had a wonderful time celebrating with friends and raising money for such an amazing cause.”

TOFS would like to thank the organisers of the Downside and Hatchford Sports and Family Day, an annual community event in Cobham, for matching Charlotte’s original fundraising total.

Dan, a spokesperson from the event said, “The committee are delighted to be able to support TOFS this year as their chosen charity. Some of the committee have a personal connection with the Fisher family who have been supported by the fantastic work that the charity does.”

Thank you also to Le Toy Van and Guy Chapman who donated some amazing prizes to the highest bidders. Also thanks to Higgidy and Lune & Wild who donated some delicious food to the children’s (OA/TOF friendly) buffet.
