This paper looks at patients diagnosed with VACTERL and the renal part of the syndrome. They follow up their kidney function over a 15 year period and compare them with a group of similar children with kidney problems but no VACTERL diagnosis, and look at how the kidney function changes, whether they need transplants, and how their height is affected.
